I skipped my 10 year reunion. Partly because I'd just been in my hometown 2 weeks before for a wedding (where I saw several of them anyway) and didn't want to stick around or come back again for the reunion. Also, I was only going to go if my boyfriend would go with me, since he's all I had to show for my 10 years of adulthood, and he wouldn't go I'm missing my best friend Yes it was Incredible There's no reason to pretend

i went to my 10th, and found that the cliques were the same and that it was a waste of time, with the eception of seeing a few people that i had lost touch with. i skipped the 20th because of the shitty time i had at the 10th, but there was an all-class cookout after the annual football rivalry game, which was actually more fun because the older classes were there. mostly everybody was divorced or saddled with kids/teenagers, so i enjoyed being single and sexy

Last year, I went to a 5-year reunion for my fellow junior college graduates. I didn't bother to show up at the right time, but went instead to a Chris Cornell concert and showed up late at the reunion. I really don't think I missed much, since most of the people I knew didn't show up.
There was one odd moment though. One girl who was on a different course line, i.e. never attended classes with me and I had never spoken to her, started talking to me, saying she remembered me even from the time when I was 14! We started dancing a bit but nothing happened though. I was too scared to make a move, thinking she was just being friendly. Then I went downtown with some friends and I haven't seen her since. Curiously enough, when I met some of the people from the reunion weeks later they were gossiping about me making out with this girl! If only ....

I haven't gone to any of mine. The school I attended had 5000 students and a graduating class of 1100 or something like that. Yeah, ughhh!
I was curious though. MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits"

We dont really have them, cos I went to a boarding school, and I pretty much expect everyone went back to their own countries, on top of that our school has closed down, so there is no base now really I will love you forever and you will never be forgotten - L.A.F.

My class has them every five years and I've been to all of them. I always have a good time, too. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I went to my one year reunion and haven't gone to any others. I still get the invitations as well as the alumni newsletter each month. I flip through it to see if anyone from my year is mentioned or died and then throw it in the recycling bin.

I poo pooed my 10 yr reunion and swore I wouldn't go....until I found out that 2 of my friends that moved away were going. They made me promise to just show up and see how it was. I ended up having so much fun. I thought I'd get shit for not having kids or being married, and have to listen to all of those lame stories about their kids and how great they are. Instead we all danced, laughed and caught up on each others lives. It was really nice.
I think you should go, you can always leave if it sucks. . [Edited 4/29/08 12:30pm]

I just got an email from a site called Reunion.com & some chick from high school is looking for me BITCH PLEASE!! I deleted that mf - didn't wanna talk to her ass then, don't wanna be found now, ain't goin' to a reunion EVER I had SO few friends in high school & I still talk to them, so there's no need to go unless I wanna see a bunch of busted up mf's & pretend to care about what they're up to
I know that sounds harsh but it's from years of living in the same city, running into people, realizing it means jack to me & now avoiding old schoolmates - I just don't have the energy to pretend to care I always said I'd attend if I could be invisible though Somebody work on that, invisibility & shit. Lemme know

Lemme know Well my 20 year is this year and I have never received an invitation to ANY of my reunions. The address they would send it to has not changed Now don't get me wrong, I am not beggin to go as my time in high school was fit for Carrie. If I had the power the whole school would have gone up in flames almost every day How can I tell them to fuck off if I never get an invite?! I must admit though, I do want to go to see how busted up those fuckers are I am in much better shape than others I have run into over the years and I'm not strapped down with 10,000 kids so I would love to brag at least a little on how much better off I am than most of the cretans who tortured me in school! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

WillyWonka said: I didn't attend any of my class reunions, and don't plan to ever do so.
But I did fill out my biography section on the reunion website, and wrote outrageous lies about what has transpired in my life since graduation: that I lived as a hermit in the woods for awhile and lost my leg in a grizzly bear attack, was in prison for 12 years, and that now I work in a garbage bag factory. Then I made a point of mentioning a few classmates by name and how I couldn't wait to see them at the reunion. Strangely enough, none of those people ever got in touch. OMGosh...you didn't!!! lol...how funny..our class has a website and we all chit chat every now and then, but as far as reunions..I've missed my 10 and 20...oh spit...I just totally gave away my age...for the love of pete you guys are deceptive. I went to my 10 year reunion and had a pretty good time. some of the guys lost all their looks as well as the women and some people looked unrecognizably better. some had many kids others like me had none (not many though) the weirdest thing was seeing two couples that were highschool sweethearts still together and the saddest was seeing the people who died since then. Considering I went to an all boy catholic HS and I'm gay, I'm not too sure I want to go to mine, though I know I'd look better than most of those guys. Christian Zombie Vampires
