Get tha funk outta here wit that! rolleyes I KNOW you can cook SUMTHIN. . lol

falloff Yea but I do it so seldom, mentioning it feels like cheating! lol

I have this one dish they ask me to make for holidays - no name but it's green peas in a light cream sauce w/ loose crab meat & shrimp...

I make a good mushroom duxelle for the rare times I cook steak (duxelle is super easy though, the chopping is the hardest part lol )

I make baba ganoush at least once a month (also super easy)...

& a chicken orzo w/ asparagus, mushrooms & smoked mozarella (only made it once but it's gonna become signature)...

a decent peach cobbler, but it's my sister's recipe giggle

See I don't really do meals, just pieces of meals lol

.

Yes, yes, yes! I totally agree.

seriously, people say they cant cook, but most recipes are really easy if you take your time nod

I'm an excellent all-around cook, but most of my "signature dishes" are desserts. Brioche tart with cherries in spiced wine syrup. Creamy lemon cheesecake with a gingersnap crust. Phyllo "nests" with homemade pistachio ice cream and sour cream/tart cherry ice cream. Mexican "five flavor" bittersweet chocolate ice cream.

And I make a mean carrot cake. cool

drool One of my favorites!!!!

Well strangely enough one of my favorite dishes and one that I make very well is vegetarian. I'm not vegetarian, but this is so good that I don't miss the meat.

It's called Black Bean Casserole and the ingredients are:

Stewed tomatoes
Picante sauce
Green pepper
onion
cumin
black beans
Shredded cheese
tostada shells
black olives
garlic

I don't feel like typing out the directions, but if anyone is interested I'll share the recipe.

It's so yum....

I ususally serve it with rice and corn muffins.

drooling
