What do you do when you have horrible nightmares?

Currently I'm drinking water and looking at the org. Dreading going back to sleep, but knowing I really should be back in bed already.

OK, it's totally silly. neutral

Bascially, there was a LOT of lead up, but the worst part ended with me walking outside my parent's house where there was this doll that was freaking everyone out and was leaning on the side of the house (which is not how I'd left it) and it looked up at me and said "Do you want to put your keys in me, Carrie?" in a very evil voice. I freaked and said, um, what? And it repeated it. (Yeah, I don't even know what that means. shake lol ) My mother was standing behind me and heard it. I went up and stomped on it's face and turned around and ran in the house. I proceeded to try to tell my father and brother and neither seemed all that interested. I went to try to call a friend of mine (and I had to redial the number several times as I was shaking) and he told me he was making dinner and couldn't talk right now. neutral I woke up shortly after that.

I don't have any. lol I had 2 beers at a happy hour with Denton this afternoon and fell asleep on the couch around 8:30. When I woke up at 9 I got up and went straight to bed. This is probably what caused the nightmare to begin with!

Here's a nightmare i had. I was at the office where i work. It felt like i had jsut woken up, and i somehow knew it was 11:00. i didn't have a ride back to my house (funny because it's 2 blocks from where i live. I got on the phone and called my coworker Jim but stopped when i realized he was probably asleep. So i called my brother (who lives in Butler confuse) didn't pick up. Then i fell on the floor shaking and woke up.

See, it doesn't sound like much but I totally get that. Yuck.
Most of my nightmares aren't even scary or stressful, there's just an overwhelming feeling of dread/discomfort/ickiness. This one just happened to be freaky to boot.

Perfect example: In mine, my daughter and I argue to the point of war...very distressing to me a I see her as one of my best friends. Although, as she herself said yesterday, she sees me as one of her closest friends yet appreciates the fact that I am in roll of mother and don't confuse it with comrade overtly.

None-the-less, she and i war in my dreams which has never occurred in my reality. I look for what is stressful or concerning in my world. I suppose I see her as one of my closest alias and a safe place thus, my brain uses her to represent fear and unbalance.

Doll

To dream that a doll comes to life, signifies your desires to be someone else and escape from your present problems and responsibilities. Dolls may serve as a means to act out your wishes.

To see a doll in your dream, symbolizes childhood innocence and light-hearted fun.

To dream that you are playing with a doll, represents a lack of communication between you conscious and unconscious mind. You may also have an immature attitude towards the opposite sex.

Key
To see a key in your dream, symbolizes opportunities, access, control, secrets, or responsibilities. You may be locking away your own inner feelings and emotions. If you hear the sounds of keys rattling, then it indicates that you have the right attitude toward life. You are heading in the right direction and asking all the right questions in the process. It is also a sign of decisive action.

To dream that you lose your keys, signifies your fear of losing your position or status in life. You may have lost control of yourself. It may also foretells of unexpected changes and unpleasant adventures. If you give your key away, then it suggests that you have given up control of some situation or responsibility.

To dream that you find keys, signifies that you have found a solution to a problem.

To see broken keys in your dream, signifies many quarrels and possibly a break-up.

House
To see a house in your dream, represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. In general, the attic represents your intellect, the basement represents the unconscious, etc. If the house is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity. If the house is shifting, then it suggests that you are going through some personal changes and changing your belief system. If you live with others in your walking life, but dream that you are living alone, suggests that you need to take new steps toward independence. You need to accept responsibilities and be more self-reliant.

To dream that you are cleaning your house, signifies your need to clear out your thoughts and getting rid of old ways. You are seeking self-improvement.

To dream that your house is broken into, suggests that you are feeling violated. It may refer to a particular relationship or current situation in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that some unconscious material is attempting to make itself known. There are some aspects of yourself that you have denied.

To see an old, run-down house in your dream, represents your old beliefs, attitudes and how you used to think or feel. A situation in your current life may be bringing about those same old attitudes and feelings. Alternatively, the old house may symbolize your need to update you mode of thinking. If the house is new, then it indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life.

Parents
To see your parents in your dream, symbolizes both power, shelter, and love. You may be expressing your concerns and worries about your own parents. Alternatively, it represents the merging of the female and male aspects of your character.

Sibling
To see your sibling in your dream, indicates unresolved issues with your sibling. Consider their actions in your dream and how it may be a reflection of your own self and your character.

hug Hope you feel better after your scary dream rose

I'm pretty good at dream interpretation too, Carrie. I think this means that an evil doll is going to attack you in the middle of the night when you are sleeping and that when you try to call a friend (Dan) he will say that he can't come because he is cooking. But you will know it is a lie because he eats raw food only.

Fuck Dan!
