tila tequila and kim kardashian - whenever i see anything about these two i just ignore it and move on because there's nothing these two people could possibly do that would have even the slightest effect on my existence. i'm not even really sure what they do. they have reality tv shows where they get drunk and screw a lot, right? are people's lives so boring that they don't have drunk, promiscuous friends in REAL LIFE to live through vicariously? that's kind of sad. everyone should have at least one trainwreck friend. you shouldn't have to rely on television for that. i mean, come on.

disney radio teen pop moppets - jonas brothers, miley cyrus, that whole crew. disney is creepy. i think they're totally exploiting the fact that the music industry is in decline by foisting their crappy "family friendly" crapola on the world. it's just another reason that i'm mildly phobic of disney (though i still think 'pete's dragon' is one of the cutest movies ever).

i'm sure there are many more, but those are my biggies right now. make them go away.

This reminds me of when I was switching around on a hotel TV last year in the States, and lo-and-behold, there was Dolly Parton and Billy Ray Cyrus singing together!

So of course, I watched it. nod

Guess what? It was Hannah Montana! I got tricked into watching Hannah Montana! disbelief

TB, what's wrong with Michael Imperioli? I don't see him acting a fool much on TV. (His speaking voice is pretty irritating, though.)

Trust me, man. Michael The Imp Imperioli is a scourge on contemporary entertainment. Previous generations had the Barrymore and Fonda clans, Hepburn and Tracy, Cary Grant and Sidney Poitier. Days of top-notch thespians who helped make the Gilded Age what it was.

We? We have to make do with the likes of the Imp. disbelief

Go with me on this one. nod

Okay! I wanted to punch all the bitches in my office when he was in New York a couple weeks ago. Every gotdayum day: "Ooh look at the cute Popemoblie, ooh look at his Prada shoes, ooh I heard he wears special 100% silk socks." I was like stfu about the Pope already, he's creepy and the Catholic church is creepy, too. Then in retaliation I made them listen to Pope by Prince. razz

that kind of attitude will only lead to two things:

    1) a first class seat in hell

    2) this thread getting moved to Politics and Religion (beg please no! not Politics and Religion! no! no!)

I vote for the first class seat in hell. DevotedPuppy, your post was very offensive to both JasmineFire and myself.

That's what I would like to know. I did report it to a moderator, yet nothing was done about it. I just orgnoted the same moderator tonight, explaining again why I thought it was offensive. The moderator told me that they would "review it". Who knows if it will get snipped or not, but I feel that it should, since it was nasty and unnecessary.

JasmineFire, I didn't realize you were serious. confused I do not see what is offensive about my post--I was tired of my co-workers talking about the Pope's attire and vehicle... I didn't know it should be considered "offensive, baiting, trolling, flaming, etc" to state an opinion about a person or organization (e.g. the Pope/Catholic church). I see far "nastier and more unnecessary" stuff posted on here daily (and not by me) so I'm really surprised my comment bothered you both. For what it's worth, I think all organized religion is creepy, not just the Catholic church. shrug Finally, if I wasn't agnostic, I'd consider you guys voting me a first class seat in hell far more offensive than what I said (since you basically both told me to go to hell and my comments were far more benign); but since I believe (as Sartre) 'l'enfer c'est les autres' I'm not fussed.

peace

ps. If you both were offended, I wish you would have orgnoted me....I am not the type of person who goes around the Org intentionally trying to irritate people. I honestly didn't realize you guys were offended until Psychodelicide posted.

There is nothing offensive about your post. If yours is offensive, so is every other thread/post in here trashing celebs.

I kinda find it more offensive that you were told you were gonna go to hell for posting it....but, hey, that's just me.
