Has anyone, or anyone you know, been in the "Cash Cab"?

What a cool show (I stumbled on) where the cabbie asks you questions and the passenger gets paid cash for every correct answer!




You get three strikes (chances for wrong answers), and if you screw up you lose the money and have to get out immediately. Either way, you pay no fare, but get a chance to win money while you travel to your destination.

It's on Discover Channel... It amused me, therefore it's cool.

who's that cabbie in the picture? is that anthony edwards? i've never seen a NY cabbie who looks like that. i think they're cheating.

I've seen this show, yes it is pretty cool. No I have not been it it .... most of the cabs I get in tries to take all of my money and don't even have manners!

His name's Ben Bailey. He's a standup comic. (He has a funny story about almost beating up Jay Mohr for stealing one of his jokes, just as an aside.) He's also kinda sexy.

He does this very well, though. Does he memorize these questions? He drives and asks the questions so clearly and without missing a beat! Anyway... I thought it was interesting.

They have this show in Germany too. When I watch it with hubby I like to giggle at him when he gets all upset when people give the wrong answers

No I haven't seen the show. If there were more hot cabbies like him driving them yellow demons around, I'd ride on them way more than I do, which is practically zero anyway. I'll stick to the subway, they can't pass me by even when they are empty.
