I finally feel part of America

I was finally approached by a couple of JWs today. Now I'm complete! biggrin

Oh wait, does this mean I'm in the wrong forum?

I also got some pizza and chicken wings with hot sauce.
What is your favorite fast food?

(will this add-on help keeping the thread in GD? )

Jehova's Witnesses never come to my house, but they always find me when I go to the mall lol It's annoying neutral

I don't really like fast food. The only thing that I kinda like are the fries from McDonald's . shrug

I was rushing to the bank, and these nice old ladies approached me with some book or something, and all I could see was something that looked like the words Watch Tower. I just said "No thank you" and kept walking. Though I wonder what they would've said if I told them I'm Jewish and Jesus to me was a carpenter with a drinking problem.

the JWs pretty much leave me alone. i think they take one look at me and they're like, "um yeah, let's try that lady walking behind him." lol

as for fast food, i like taco bell and subway but i don't indulge in either very often. i also like chipotle, but i got burned out on them and hardly ever eat there anymore. i'm a big fan of chinese take-out, but it seems to be getting harder and harder to find these days. sigh

I think when it comes to fast food, I'm not picky. I'll eat what looks familiar and clean. Also the windows on that pizza place today was so dusty you couldn't see through it. But I was hungry.

I prefer McDonalds. Their fries are good, and the Big Xtra, which now I understand is off their menu. Too bad, it was the only one with the right amount of vegetables.

Oh, I haven't tried Wendy's too many times, so I can't remember how it tastes. For me it's junk food, so it wouldn't matter too much. If anything, then Harvey's.

are you going to be in new york when you're living in the states? screw fast food joints, especially the ones in manhattan. they're dirty and nasty and nobody there cares if you get what you order. trust me on this. go to the mom & pop fast food places, the falafel joints, the funky little mexican food places, the local neighborhood diners. independently owned restaurants in NYC take more pride in their product...not to mention that with all the amazing food in the city, you have no BUSINESS eating skanky ol' mcdonalds. no no no!

just because you CAN eat anything doesn't necessarily mean you'll WANT to. lol

for about the same price as mcdonalds, you can get a much better hamburger/fries meal at a deli or a diner. plus you'll get a pickle spear and that little cup of coleslaw that diners always feel the need to include. YUM!

omg Really???
Because out here "on the island" a deli or diner will run you TWICE as much as Wendy's or McDee's.
Next time I'm in "the city" I will definitely check out the mom-&-pop's.

Canada is not REALLY part of America, Ariel.

It has universal healthcare, a low crime rate, equal rights for gay marriages, and a comparatively low crime rate. Not very American at all. lol

It is still one of my dreams to visit Katz´s Delicatessen in NYC one day and eat there.
Everytime I went to the USA , I never found one of those typical , old school diners, and I really looked for them. You know, places like that joint in Twin Peaks, where you can order a cup of coffee, a piece of cherry pie, some fries and stuff like that.
