God Stymie please don't get on the bus. shake I hope you are referring to the train instead. Everytime I got on CTA we were almost involved in an accident. I told my wife I was never getting on a Chicago city bus again. Right after that experince my mom-in-law was involved in an accident with a bus. She got a nice chunk of money in a settlement, of course, but she's still in pain.
God no. CTA doesn't run in the burbs, thank God. lol

I knew that. But still, when you get to town... shake

nod Once I get Danny transferred to the burbs, I'm back on public transportation. Not only will I depend less on gasoline, but it will be way less stressful than driving.

really? i took CTA buses in chicago for six years and i never had any kind of close call or accident. in fact, i often preferred them to taking the train because at least when the bus pauses for a long time, you have the option of getting off, whereas in a train when it stops for a long time, you're just stuck there with no escape.

Teacher

Isn't that exactly the US's problem, that people don't stand up and just stay in their cars? giggle

I gave up the ride to get to work n got back on the bus .. let sum1 else drive .. its not so bad .. Cut out going out .. you start little and save. If NASA can send astronauts to live in space n do all the miraculous things its done gas should be history as a fuel source. Think bamboozled's a good word. HELL F'N NO-W for change> its time for a new revolution.

I hate these high prices.

My hunch is it's the only thing that will spur the age of hydrogen vehicles though. If it's cheaper to go hydrogen than gas, that's the only thing that will swap us over.

So maybe, this scary trend is what we need.

a friend of mine was looking at some site that wanted you to buy plans to covert any car to use water. in the video this guy was using a welding torch to melt metal using water as fuel wtf? confuse it was saying the government was buying his plans to use them on hummers for the army. she also said that its going to mean that water is what is going to be costing more than oil.

Out of curiousity, since I never hear this mentioned, how well do the alternative fuel vehicles sell in Europe? Are there any draw backs? One of the major concerns, I believe, is durablity and performance. As I understand the gas prices are so much higher so obviously they must be feeling some kind of a pinch.
