2007-08 series: Detroit 4-0.

Detroit (54-21-7): Red Wings earned shutout victories over Avalanche in each of the final three meetings this season, outscoring Colorado 7-0. The shutout streak stands at 214 minutes, 4 seconds, dating to the second period of a game on Dec. 27 at Colorado. Dominik Hasek worked 154:04 of the streak, and Chris Osgood had the final shutout on Feb. 18. ... Detroit hasn't lost in regulation to Colorado in the past three seasons.

Colorado (44-31-7): Goalies Jose Theodore and Peter Budaj both went 0-2 against Detroit. Theodore faced all the action against Minnesota in the first round, posting a 1.88 GAA. ... Avalanche hasn't reached the conference since winning the Stanley Cup in 2001.

2007-08 series: Montreal 4-0.

Montreal (47-25-10): Canadiens led the NHL with 90 power-play goals and a 24.1 percent success rate during season, but went 3 for 33 (9.1 percent) with the advantage in their series with Boston. Penalty kill yielded three goals in 30 short-handed situations. ... Montreal is meeting a foe it swept in the regular season for the second straight series. Montreal, which went 8-0 against Boston, has won six consecutive vs. Philadelphia dating to a 4-2 loss on Nov. 25, 2006.

Philadelphia (42-29-11): The Flyers were second to Montreal with 84 power-play goals in regular season and 21.8 percentage. Went 8 for 36 against Capitals after a 3-for-22 start in the first four games. ... RW Mike Knuble is out indefinitely with a hamstring injury.

Outlook: Habs master Flyers in playoffs again, barely. Canadiens in 7.

I think it's finally Montreal's year.

Then maybe the title of the thread should be "who are you pulling for in these Conference Semifinal matchups"....or "who are you pulling for in tonights matchups?"
