My hair is the source of many headaches!
It's usually curly (read: tangled) but, my friend straightened for a change and it looks nice (other than my cow-licked bangs ) However, I won't DARE get it wet that would be tragic If you will, so will I

cocunut oil
warm a couple tablespoons up at night. rub in hair. leave it in overnight. Wash out in the morning. Leaves hair very soft and manageable. And it's far cheaper than expensive conditioners. Also, depending on your hair type a little dab of baby oil is great--but just a tiny bit.

I have very thick, wavy hair. My hair can get huge if I'm not careful. I actually try to use shampoo that is meant for straight hair as I've found that it helps to control the frizz.
I also like this product by Pantene. I need to go to get some more I just wash my hair and let it air dry a bit. Then I rub a small amount of that creme in my hair.... sometimes I mix it with some anti-frizz serum too.... and I just let it dry. I wish I could have found that product when I was younger. I wouldn't have spent so many hours straightening my hair all the time [Edited 4/22/08 19:42pm]

i used john freida yesterday but usually i use garnier fructis. I find both to be just okay. The john freida one i used is called 'downplay' and it's suppose to 'debulk' my hair. i think my hair debulked it. i also need a good trip to the hairstylist.
