Right now this shampoo because its for coloured hair ( and the hairdresser literally rammed it down my throat, and I felt awkward saying no, although usually I just say no thanks, but that day I was feeling extra timid ) and a cheap conditioner a Herbal Essences one. . [Edited 4/22/08 9:09am]

i have to use head & shoulders for my shampoo or else my head turns into a goddamn snowglobe.
3 or 4 times a week i follow that up with aveda conditioner. once in a great while i'll just condition my hair and not shampoo it. it makes my hair super easy to style with a minimum of product, but i can't go more than a couple of days without shampooing or else i go all greasy and dandruffy, which is not a look i'm going for.

You now my hair gets dandruffy in the winter. But it appears that frequent shampooing with any shampoo stabilizes that. Why am I admitting this shit?

Why am I admitting this shit? are we supposed to be embarrassed about dandruff? is it like pooping your pants to have dandruff? cheezus, i get dry scalp: deal with it, world. i HAVE to use dandruff shampoo. i'd love to use the aveda shampure along with the conditioner because it smells amazing, but if i use it we're talking about flake city. so i got a shampure candle instead and i huff it when i'm feeling sad.

Would you please shut up about this. Please. i used to think it was hair product dandruff, because during my punk-rock-y/goth-y days, i used a lot of crazy stuff in my hair like dippity do and aqua net (in the lilac can, natch) and my scalp was like the rocky plains after a few hours. are plains rocky? well, you get what i mean. but nah. as i got older and more moderate and refined with product, i still get the 'druffage, especially in winter but basically all the time if i don't keep it up with the head & shoulders. it's my genetic cross to bear. so what else do you want to know about my dandruff problem, imago?
