the feeling that only your children give you

ive just had my wee boy stay with me for 4 nights(usually its alternate weekends etc)

we had such a fantastic time-he likes to sleep with his daddy and this morning i was awake at 5am just waiting for him to wake up!

of course being the mature gentleman i am-i wouldnt dream of waking him up just to discuss the finer points of time travel and octopusses

i just love to watch him sleep-those little snores and little sleepy wriggles!

made myself a coffee and finished my book(obama's-dreams from my father-good book but DAMN man have some fun!)

0645 came around and i couldnt wait any longer!

GOOD MORNING!

i love it how 4 year olds look so sleepy and cute mumble a good morning then POW!! they are up and awake and discussing random facts and are just so joyful to be alive and....well to be four!

awww anyway i just thought id share that!

mushy That is awesome big grin

The only thing I have to compare that to is having a dog. To have that kind of energy as soon as you wake up.

It's great pride in something not entirely owing to you...

Does that make any sense?

I love all my kids.

That being said, I frequently want to kill all of them.

And none of them can piss me off quite like my son. I'd like to give him a flying dropkick sometimes.

If I could actually DO a flying dropkick that is, but I digress.....

If it wasn't illegal, you would have just admitted to beating your children there, wouldn't you?

I love my kids and grand kids deeply

They have been my best friends and teachers and I respect them all

I am blessed and feel honoured to be gifted them
