I saw luv4u's thread and it made me think about when I sometimes see manly looking men out in public with long pointy fingernails. Is that a dude thing? Like, are guys trying to be like Wolverine or something?

I will be honest. I am not a fan of men with long fingernails. It's a pet peeve of mine. Ew.

So, fellas...what's going on with your cuticles? Do you cut them to the quick or do you have some corn chip talon action going on? If so...why?

no, seriously - i clip them probably once every week or at most, once every two weeks. when i can start clicking my nails against each other, i know it's time to trim.

Long nails on guys is just nasty. It's totally old school pimp, and not in a good way.

I keep mine short, and I know its time to cut them when I can look at my open palms and see any nail over the tips of my fingers.

Sometimes I neglect them and they go nuts, but I end up biting them off soon.

I like to keep my fingernails short.

since i don't bite mine, they can sometimes get out of hand. it's not usually the length that reminds me to cut them, but the grungy crap that collects under them. sorry, i know that's gross

i try to keep them short, though.
