Former New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas has been banned from having any contact with members of the team as part of his reassignment agreement with team president Donnie Walsh, the New York Daily News reported, citing a team source.

Walsh, who replaced Thomas as the Knicks' president, fired him as coach last week after Thomas went 56-108 as coach, including this season's 23-59 disaster. He has been reassigned as an advisor to the team.

According to the report, there is concern that Thomas, if allowed to have any contact with the team, could either willingly or unwillingly undermine its new coach. Thomas acquired all the players on the current Knicks roster as team president.

But the agreement does not prohibit Thomas from speaking to Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan, according to the report.

He's a dumbass. When he got fired, he shoulda walked away and broken all ties with the organization. Preserved at least a lil bit of dignity. Now, he's having to eat shit and like it.

Wow, this is pathetic but for some reason, I'm like watching this and I'm not a sports fan. Isaiah did such an incredible job damn near destroying the Knicks it's like it's revenge seeing him like this.

His parents fucked him up by spelling his name Isiah. Everyone always uses the traditional Isaiah. I guess that apple didn't fall far from the tree. lol

He'll be doing drive-bys like David Ruffin of the Temptations. After he got kicked out, he would just show up at performances and jump on stage, stealing the show. lol Finally, they DID have to have security keep him out. And I don't feel sorry for Isiah at all. He's where he is of his own doing and arrogance. So, boo-fuckin-hoo.

Years ago when he was a player, he stated that Bird was just an average player and would NOT be considered great if he were not White.

Fast forward, Karl Malone bust Isiah's head on the court. Then he was left off of the 1984 Olympic Team. Then he purchased the entire CBA, so that it would become the NBA development teams. The NBA said no, then turned around and created the "D" league which would have made Isiah millions. It's just one thing after another with this guy.

Man, being a Knicks fan has been rough 4 a while now.

I just hope someone can make a team outta my boys.

Right now, the Knicks need not as much talent as they need cohesiveness, consistency, and desire.

We could combine them with the Bulls and still could not field a good team.

Believe me, they need a influx of talented players who know how to play REAL basketball. Isiah assembled a bunch of me-first, overpaid underachievers, who can't do sh!t without the ball. Jerome James, Jared Jeffries, Eddy Curry(a fat, lazy, slob who can't rebound or play defense)??? Are you f-cking KIDDING me???? Isiah should be stripped naked, tarred & feathered, and forced to run a gauntlet in front of MSG. This a$$wipe put the Knicks into a hole that'll take years to get out of, and Brain-Dead Dolan still doesn't get it.

It may not take years. There are plenty of weak GM's in the NBA. There a lot a moves that they can make but they will NEED a strong GM 2 pull them off. The Wizards and Portland both had similiar teams and they got rid of the bad players in 1-2 seasons with good moves by their GM. U just have 2 know what u are doing.

In todays NBA, trades are about contract dollars. U can move players, believe me.
