I like some of his flicks. I would have to say "Do The Right Thing" was his best, IMO. You really got to understand Spike's style of filmmaking in that one.
Some would root for Malcolm, but I don't think it owned up to the great autobiography from Alex Halex. Spike showed this NYU where my Mother went and he ended up in a major argument with her about it. I met him too in Brooklyn when he was promoting "Mo Better Blues". Nice dude. "SHEEEEEIIIIIT!" It´s more than good, imo, but I feel the same as you. I don´t think I will ever want to see it again. Don´t know why really.
