Now I'm gonna be thinking about that for the next week. And I was about to go to sleep too. Nightmares. Reminds me of when I was little. The house was INFESTED. I never got over my fear of roaches.[Edited 4/20/08 23:19pm] Sorry about that! Regular sized roaches I have enough problems with and I don't have a problem destroying their asses....but those other roaches that are big enough to sit in your kitchen and cook breakfast HELL 2 THA NIZZAW!!! Regular sized roaches I have enough problems with and I don't have a problem destroying their asses....but those other roaches that are big enough to sit in your kitchen and cook breakfast HELL 2 THA NIZZAW!!! same here, we stayed in a cheap ass motel once when i was about 12 and there were roaches there. it was the first time i'd ever really even seen one of the fuckers, but they didn't bother me. they stayed safely behind the bureau of drawers and stuff. didn't bug anything. i was sure they wouldn't be everywhere. the scary thing about the palmetto bugs/cockroaches here is that - they aren't afraid of light - supposedly they get to be only about 3 inches but this one LOOKED LIKE FOUR OR FIVE DAMMIT. IT MUST BE A MUTANT - they have a harder shell and don't want to die but yeah, it's the big ones that scare me HE'S COMING AGAIN

Took this pic of a tukgae in our bedroom a couple of years back. It was about 9 inches long, head to tail: We once apparently had a snake bust through the roof above the kitchen and get stuck too, supposedly with a girth like a human leg and several metres long. It's like a bloody zoo.

AND BIGGER. i must emphasize the bigger part. because i keep reading that (max.) they're 3 inches. NO. FUCKING. WAY. this thing was huge and fat and gross. maybe it isn't a cockroach but whatever, it's gross [Edited 4/20/08 23:37pm] HE'S COMING AGAIN

that's been my go-to solution in the past, but i can't because everyone else in the house is trying to sleep and it's 3 AM. they'd come out and kill me more painfully than the bug will. [Edited 4/20/08 23:43pm] HE'S COMING AGAIN

Those things are horrible! When I lived in Florida they always used to try to fly into the house if they smelled you cooking. . They're really agressive to and have no qualms about trying to attack you if they feel threatened. If you go after a palmetto bug you need to know that once they start sputtering those wings they are coming at'cha and in their mind it's going to be you and him to the DEATH
