when I was still in high school...public...we couldn't have facial hair of any kind, guys hair couldn't go past the collar of your shirt and your shirt had to be tucked in if it wasn't a straight hem at the bottom...rolleyes...of course, the wheel was still square when I was in school, so times have changed...

but I honestly don't see a problem with rules like that in school, as shitty as they are...the real world is full of rules and you gotta learn that sometimes life aint always about expressing yourself through your appearance...shrug

I wonder if any of those third graders that were gonna fuck up their teacher had beards?? hmmm

Ugh, my old high school (the one I went to two yrs ago lol) has that rule. Even the girls had to do it if they wore pants instead of skirts or dresses...so none of us ever did lol

That school also didn't allow headbands or hairties, nail polish, any make up, any kind of sandal, any unnatural hair colour or any jewellery.

Damn, I hated that school.

The one I'm at now allows everything biggrin Some dude has like a 10 foot mowhawk biggrin We have bald chicks, Dita Von Teese wannabees, short shorts, and massive afros.

I love this school biggrin

Holy, I remember guys with beards and/or long hair. It was never an issue at my school.

How does having a beard or long hair interfere with learning? These kinds of rules are pathetic.
