1. how does spiderman's web know when to open and catch the bad guy?

2. why doersn't anybody know that wonder woman is diana prince in a 2 piece bathing suit and a tiara?

3. why don't female superheros wear flats instead of stilletto heels?

4. why did zan from the wonder twins always turn into something useless..like fog or mist? why not a monsoon or a tsunami?

5. how much do superheros make an hour?

6. would you really want robin as your backup?

7. how did the scarlet witch and vision get it on? i know he could turn as hard as diamonds....

8 how did bruce banner's pants grow as he became the hulk?

Why wouldn't Capt. Marvel Jr. choose a different name, since he couldn't ever say his own name? And why wouldn't he just stay superpowered all the time, since he couldn't walk well in his secret identity?

If the Flash was really so fast, how did anybody ever catch him?

Why was Green Lantern so dumb in how he used his power ring?

How can Lois Lane's vagina cope with Superman's penis and spunk? I mean, wouldn't it look like so much pastrami afterwords, and wouldn't his spunk feel somewhere between cooling lava and liquid mercury? I mean, she had a child with him--wouldn't the winning sperm cell have bursted her egg like a needle popping a baloon?

It makes no sense.

In the movie version of Spiderman his webbing is biological. Couldn't someone get a sample of it and my a biological web against Spiderman?

In the comics Spiderman made his webbing. Peter Parker could barely the pay rent where did he get the money for the chemicals? Stole them? He he brought them could they get traced back to him?

If you're referring to the Superman 2 movie, Superman had no powers when he and Lois conceived their child. The sex must have been pretty boring.

But they're married in the comics now and he has his powers.

Dan made reference to Lois' son which means he was talking about the movies. I don't read Superman comix. I have no idea what goes on in there.

OK, if humans can see because light is reflected off the backs of our eyeballs, why do any superheros who turn invisible not go blind when they use their powers? hmmm

They bend light waves around themselves so it's not that they are invisible exactly. It's just that other people can't see them.

That's Susan Richard, right? But what about all the other? They must all work the same way, I guess.

What would happen if Juggernaut (unstoppable) ran into the Blob (immovable)? ...And let's say it was in a narrow hallway, so Jug's trajectory couldn't be changed. hmmm

if you put plastic man and metamorpho in a food processor or a blender and set it at the highest setting for a really long time, would they come out as a whole new person or would they still be two individuals, but all gooed up in each other. would this be considered a form of superhero mansex?

I have a book called "Science of the X-Men" (there are ones for Star Trek, and X-Files too, I think), where real scientists try to provide theories on how certain characters' super powers would work.

Anyway, it's pretty interesting... until toward the middle and end of almost every entry, where they cop out and start talking about miniature black holes in their brains rolleyes
I don't want this to end

I know Lawrence Krauss, who wrote the Physics of Star Trek. Brilliant man, great writer, but perhaps the most arrogant and socially awkward person you'll ever meet.

There was a Marvel Comic a few years back called Ruins that applied some real world physics laws to many characters. In the book when the Fantastic Four got their powers, Sue actually turned invisible and went blind. They all died of course.

Ben Grimm was telling the story about how he refused to pilot Reed's ship because it was too dangerous so Von Doom took his place and became the Thing. I think he said Doom turned into a solid mass of rock or something and all his insides were pushed out. The Human Torch burned to death on a cellular level.

It was only two issues--written by Warren Ellis. You should see what happened to the X-Men. sad

This is the cover of the second issue:

Magneto literally became a walking magnet.

As you can probably tell by the design of the covers, this was an alternate version of Alex Ross' Marvels series. While the Marvel characters were awe-inspiring and majestic in that book, in Ruins everything that could have gone wrong with them, did.
