Thats right, i was in Target yesterday and i needed a road map to find a calling card there cause things so difficult to find sometimes, and when i bought one and got back home, it was not in bag, I saw that girl scan it and then when I took my eyes off her and paid with my card, she must of hood swipe me when i was not looking!! For this I might boycott Target and NOW I have to go t oWALMART today and get a new one!! Target, quit hiring thieves to be your cashiers!!

The trick is to keep your eyes on what is going on and check to make sure you have your bags and stuff before you leave that cashier.

Go back to Target with your receipt and demand your money back, report the cashier otherwise she will continue to rip people off. Fraud is a criminal act, punishable with punitive damages is some cases. I know it's a bit extreme, but threathen to sue Target for fraud and see how quickly they refund your money. I bet if you had stole something out of Target, they wouln't let you slide with it, that for dang sure.
