how old is "too damn old" to be at the club?

if a club has a "18 to get in, 21 to drink" policy...what's the age cut off hwen your ass needs to be staying home (or going to happy hour instead). if you were 20-25 years old, would you want to be in a club with 35-40 year olds? (toughly close to your parenst age). ?

I think about this a lot. I almost never go out anymore, but sometimes I do feel like it and I HATE feeling like the oldest person in the place. A couple Saturdays ago a 19 year old coworker was mentioning he was going dancing at First Avenue and I was all "oh, Saturday nights are so much fun there. The music is great!" He proceeded to invite me to go along with him. eek I told him it was a very sweet offer, but I simply can't go out dancing with 19 year olds. lol He was very cute about it, assuring me I look no more than mid 20's and that no one would think any different, but I just kind of giggled and said thanks. lol

If you are over 25, stay at home.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

If you look young, who cares?

I don't usually go out to clubs just to dance...I go to check out certain djs or club nights. I don't care what age the others are. I'm not there to try and make friends or watch what everyone else is doing.

I don't think that's true at all. There are clubs (or club nights) here where most of the crowd is over 25.
Just probably not into their mid thirties. sigh

I'm just being silly Carrie... I'm not much of a club goer...so I guess it really does depend on the club in question.

I tend to go to clubs where they won't let them kiddies in! The people I hang with are all between 28 & 42!

Right on with everything U said.

I look damn good, and nobody can tell my age, plus I can still step if I want 2. Physically, mentally, and sexually I am still quite young, so it's all good here.

I would say people should go out if they feel it. That's all.

Plus, 4 my generation, there R plenty of specialized nights that play old school R&B, hip-hop, house, etc, where I can really get off.

Like Erin said, I go out 2 specific events, nights, DJs, etc... not just 2 socialize.

nah, i don't agree. go out. but don't act like you're under 25. act your age and don't pretend you're something you're not. if you like the music and the scene, people will read your behavior and you'll have a good time. if you try to force it for the sake of looking cool or fitting in with the hip crowd, you need to take your ass home because chances are you're embarrassing yourself.

I don't care what his age is. I only care if he's hot. biggrin

And seriously, why would I care what some other chick (or dude for that matter) does? And why would what they're doing bother me? I don't care.

I still like going to the night club every once and a while
I like to party with my bro.
He will be 28 in may.

I think 37 is the cut off point.
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

I want to go to the clubs like on Sex and the City. Really nice ones where there are "older" folks like me. lol

I probably wouldn't be going to a club where they let in 18 year olds. But, I don't go to clubs too much.

I think if you go just act like you've got some sense. No one wants to see Pops out on the floor trying to get some girls in a sammich.

You're never too old to enjoy picking up dumb skanks.

If I go to a club and take some chick home, and the next day she regrets licking some old balls, who really should have stayed home?
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I would not want to go to clubs that play that kind of music in the first place.....
I celebrated NYE on Koh Phangan, Thailand where the Full Moon Parties are being hheld. NYE was just like a Full Moon, the beaches were crowded with people (young & old) dancing to very cool house-/trance-music!

It is all possible.
