I'll take Boston's 5 and the bench over Detroit
all day,any day...GREEN 17 I am no bandwagon jumper
I've been a C's fan all my life..and this team is for real.
Besides if I see one more Detroit vs. San Antonio finals
matchup,I'll drive off a cliff

Awwww!

Don't hate because your team had to make a blockbuster trade just to show up to the party that Detroit and San Antonio have ruled for the last few years. Again, it's not about superstars it's about TEAMS.

For your teams sake, you better hope Garnett BREAKS his leg
Ya'll will see. Garnett will tweak an ankle and that'll be it. Your team will fall apart so freaking fast it'll seem like a dream.

Detroit's 5 played with ya'll during the regular season because they were saving themselves for the second season that they always have to have energy for. Boston doesn't know anything about that yet. But they will this year.....

Dude.
Boston hasn't been to the big dance in a VERY long time. And NO one on that team has.

Detroit fans aren't worried bout the Celtics in the LEAST.

It certainly won't take long.
The playoffs are DIFFERENT.
Any team that's been there for the first time in awhile will tell you that. You have to focus WAY more, and expend a TON more energy. Every play.

If you listened to Doc Rivers all season, he's admitted that he's not at all convinced that what Boston did in the regular season is going to be replicated in the playoffs, because they haven't been there before.

As much as you may hate teams like Detroit and San Antonio, there's a REASON that those teams are always in the playoff mix. EXPERIENCE.

Every year someone gets taken with a Phoenix or Los Angeles and this year Boston. But when push comes to shove, the teams to beat always shake out the same.

No arguement from me. I agree.

It will be interesting 2 see how the ref's handle the CLOSE at games at the end.

The refs will do what they always do. TRY and help the "superstar" teams down the stretch. So Garnett and LeBron and Kobe will certainly get help from the refs.

This is the 1st year in my life that I have not watched an entire game during the regular NBA season. I won't miss the playoffs though. Those Tivo's and slipts screens are going 2 be busy at my house.

If 'Sheed plays like he's supposed to, Detroit will be unstoppable. IMO, there are times when he coasts through games, and isn't selfish enough.

He's been ALL about business this year. He didn't even lead the league in techs this year.

He's so pissed about how last year ended, he's going to be a MONSTER.

Check the stats, homie! And the knock that's been on the Celts ALL season after they got Ray and KG - Suspect Bench. They have Sam and Posey, but they're hella young. Depth usually comes into play for injuries though, so the Celts better hope they don't have any one of the Big 3 go down.
