Well, I'm human like everybody else, and I do cuss. I was quite angry when I started this thread, since my cat usually does not act this way. It cracks me up when people are shocked when I use foul language. [Edited 4/20/08 8:35am] RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I try and pat it and it MEOWWWWWs really loud for a minute or so then runs away. That's the thing with cats, you can pet them only when they want to be petted. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

cats r funny, mine brings me a bird (dead or alive) almost every day rabbits too he is very clingy lately too OMG, when I had cats they would bring me presents too ... ...but then, you can't scold them, because they were were bringing you a present out of the kindness of their little kitty heart, then they drop it off at your feet- looking up at you so happy and proud because they think they found something nice for you . I mean how can you explain the cat that Mommy aprreciates the effort, but can really do without a new lizard in the house? Cats are really proud when they bring a freshly killed or still alive animal to you. They think it's the coolest thing in the world, while their human(s) find it annoying and repulsive. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Don't feel bad Psych you are not alone. Normally, my kitten will tell when she wants to be bothered. My Coco likes to sit with me on the couch when I watch TV. This time she did not want to be bothered and turned her back and walked into the kitchen with her tail in the air. I am watching a cool ass movie and out of no where she pounces on my leg and with one paw stretched back scratches the shit out of me. She takes off bouncing thorough the kitchen like nothing happened. I wanted to choke her! My leg looked like a shredded piece of rare beef! I have hidden waterguns in every room so that when she does something bad she gets hosed down with water. It definitely working. Now she will take off if anything that looks like a water gun is aimed in her direction. LOL Wanted: Virtual Sugar Daddy to help me buy stuff on Farmville and move up the ranks. A bite can be a sign of affection,I guess,my cat bites my hand after licking it a couple of times. I DON'T WANT TO BE NORMAL,because normal is part of the status quo, which I don't want to be a part of- Tori Amos

@ your cat scratching your leg like that. I have a water gun that I use on my cats too when they misbehave. It does work. i have a kitty discipline bottle as well, and it works like a charm with my grady kitty - to the point where i don't even have to spray him, i just point it at him and he stops in his tracks. i don't think kitty discipline is going to work on our new kitty, though. he seems to like water. he seems to like EVERYTHING. and yeah, like gypsyfire said, sometimes a bite can be a form of affection or it can mean they're so ecstatic they don't know what else to do. on the other hand, cats have some weird territory issues. when grady is sitting on a certain spot on the bed, he has this ritual where he lays on his back and acts cute, then when you pet him, he starts biting and hissing and getting all mean. i have no idea what that's all about.
