Boy or girl, it only really works if you just stepped on an upturned plug with your bare foot, or used with discretion to make something more comical. Excessive swearing just sounds crude and makes me people sound uneducated. I'm guilty of this too on occasion, but I try to keep myself in check. It's much better to be polite, well-spoken and articulate and maybe then drop a well chosen swear word in there for effect. It has more impact that way if you're not cussing all the time for no reason.

Profanity has a time and place.
Not good times: 1.Talking to a police officer. 2.In court. Defending yourself. 3.A job interview. 4.At a museum,, or anywhere, a dinner party, with hoity toity people you need to meet, for your career. 5.The future in-laws. 6.In a foreign country, where you might be in a little trouble. 7.Raising kids, and teaching them to speak proper English. Nothing like children arriving in kindergarten, only knowing profanity! Never mind phonics! There is none, with four letter words.... Good times: 1.In a rap group. 2.Working in businesses that accept profanity as every day speech. 3.A cultural environment, where profanity is the acceptable way to communicate. 4.The drug/substance abuse culture.

Nah, the cops here will always be 'ee moo' (hey pig) to me. It's not illegal to say 'hey pig'. Agree about when raising kids. They pick up on everything.

It completely eliminates the "talking your way out of a ticket" possibility.....from the get-go.
