I like it when sistas cuss. Not like a sailor, but casual and natural. It lets me know they aren't trying to fake who they are. I hate fake bitches. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

potty mouths on anyone in the wrong setting aint cool...now, I realize the "wrong setting" could be different for anyone but whatever...I personally don't care if a chick cusses like a sailor-or not- as long as she knows when to turn it on and off...cussing around kids aint cool, cussing around old folks aint cool or around folks that shouldn't have to hear your conversation at all, wether its laced with profanity or not-aint cool...some think that using profanity at any time is disrespectful, I don't...most grown folks with any kind of sense know when it's appropriate or not...
look, if I ever make it to an invasion, I fully expect to hear some f-bombs dropping from you "ladies"...

I cuss like a trucker on a regular basis, does that make me less of a lady?
People give me hell about it because they know I've got an expansive vocabulary, and pull the ol' "it sounds uneducated" argument on me. Piffle and poppycock, say I. Words are just words, and they only have as much power as you let them. The second you declare a select set of words to be "bad" or "dirty" is the second you give them the power to hurt and offend. But they're just words. And they're fun to say, t'boot! Pull the ol' Carlin move, and say "cocksucker, motherfucker" over and over again at rapid speed and tell me that doesn't make you smile just a little. That said, I understand not everyone shares my views and there are several people who are downright terrified of a few syllables here and there, so I know to refrain myself at work, around kids and older people, and the like. There's no need to upset uptight mama's or get fired over a word or two. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Some guys dig me because they see me as one of the guys but as I mature/get older, I am starting to wonder if the sex talk and cursing is an issue for guys. Sexually, I am into things that women just don't talk about but I do. I guess I'm asking if I should be more "lady-like" whatever the fuck that means. No. Do you. Everything ain't for everybody. And there will be a man (or woman ) that finds the way you communicate with or without cursing sexy. Funny that as I type this the current Org quote is: SCNDLS… get up bitch, you be layin' on my guitar! NASTY BITCH! Now isn't THAT ironical????

Funny story, but I never used to cuss until I started listening to Prince music. Now I can't seem to stop. Damn you, Prince! It's all your fault! RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Depends on why, when and who is around just like with men. Situation and those that hear it makes a huge difference because tempering what you say around those that it may offend is respectful.
In bed however | |

Not a fan. Being emotionally overwhelmed and having a swear word come out is one thing (Lord knows I'm guilty), having swear words as a cornerstone of one's vocab is another. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Sometimes my mouth can be very nasty and sometimes not so much. I think anything in excess is a turn off and sometimes unnecessary. You don't need to consistently use foul language to get your point across. I can curse you out without a lick of foul language so... but to each its own.

There's a time and a place for everything. Obviously around children, not cool; in a meeting with your boss, doubtful; in the bar with a bunch of friends, c'mon. If someone is going to judge me based on my swearing, fuck 'em.
What turns people on is a different story as everyone is different. Did I read that someone doesn't like head? WTF? Are they human? Stymie, I can say that if you didn't swear, you'd be someone else and that someone I don't think I'd enjoy spending time with. You are who you are and how you talk is a part of it. Swearing like a child is fun when you're a child but as adults, the words are mostly used as adjectives to make a point.

ArielB said: Don't like it. Not in women or men, not in casual conversation or sex. I just think it shows disrespect.
That said, some people grew up in such environments and it feels natural to them and inseparable part of their language. I don't go telling people not to use it. I accept everyone the way they are. If something bothers me, I tend to keep a distance. Yeah, I've become somewhat of a prude in my old age. I used to swear a lot in high school and college, but the older I got the less I did it. I'm just not comfortable with it now.
