Here's a question for you... If you were to ask him a question and he lies, but you find out the truth in another manner, what does that say about trust in your relationship. Do you plan on confronting him with whatever truth you find? Hopefully he doesn't find out about it and thus tricks you into a false truth...which you would deserve.
