To those of you that have done it in recent times I am sure i have your empathy...this sucks!

I never want to move again. Chances are we will have to do it at least one more time, but damn it, I want that to be the LAST time.

Well the business I am working for is closing, I was uspet about it first but it is better this way, I worked for the same company for 8 years and it is time for a change. I had to close the office on a very tight deadline, closing accounts, telling our clients, selling furniture,finding new tenants.
I packed up my personal stuff last w/e:19 boxes to be shipped to the South of France. I am moving back there in early June hopefully.
Moving is extremely stressful and unsettling.
I have been living in London for a long time and I moved houses at least 10 times, exhausting!! It is time to settle down

moving sucks i'll be doing it again in a few months. hate. it.

In the last three years, I've moved 5 times. I thought I was gonna kill someone each and every time It is not fun at all.

i feel U woman... i still have things in tubs from our move in feb... i finally put up some pictures this weekend so that is 2 in a lill over 3 yrs for me... ugh i hope we can buy the house we are in cause i sure in the hell don't wanna move a 4 bedroom, 2 story, huge loft house this time it was bad enough moving from the 3 bedroom... we got tons of more room and stuff to buy

Movers are God's little angels!

I'll be moving 2,221 miles from where I am now this summer. Luckily, it is a paid move so all I need to do is drive. My stuff will be in storage until I find a place to live.

Ive used movers for the major furniture but the bulk of it I have done. I have a 2 story 4 bedroom home. The rate was well over 1000.00 I can not afford to put that much money to it when sweat equity and bitching could suffice.

The hard part was the backyard which I had extensively set up and the garage and painting touch up and restoration work.

I'm moving in 3 weeks. I am soooo not looking forward to it. But can't wait to get settled.

Usually I'm happy that I'm moving, but the move itself is always a lot harder than I think it will be.

We actually hired 1 professional mover/friend for $200 (not a company, and we rented a u-haul) last time who made the whole thing a lot easier. It was well worth a few dollars.
