If I feel like clubbing, I am going regardless of my age..

I am not there to impress, nor am I there to hook up with anyone, I am there to have a drink, and listen to music with friends.

Shit, this world doesn't only belong to 30 and under! evil

I'll be 37 on a few months and I haven't been to the club in over seven years. My youngest sister is 11 years my junior, the last time I hit the club, her old sleep over friends were all "up in there". I turned around and went home and haven't been back since. Sooo I think if you're 30 you're too old to be club hopping.

If you are over 25, stay at home.

I don't think that's true at all. There are clubs (or club nights) here where most of the crowd is over 25.
Just probably not into their mid thirties. sigh

If there's a 80's music club or something, then it's OK for us older folks, but not the standard regular night club. The music gives me a headache anyway.

When everybody else seems too young and the music just sounds like noise, it's time to give it up.

i guess it would depend on how you look i didn't start going to clubs until i was 23 or 24 i was to scared and embarassed (i was raised religious) i remember going with a friend one time and she was being a total bitch and wanted to leave, so she did she was trying to come back in the club to tell me that she was getting a ride home from her married boyfriend and they wouldn't let her back in because they said she looked too old. i was laughing on the inside, because she was getting on my nerves anyway. so i said good for her lol lol i don't go to clubs now but that was just my experience as far as the age thing is concerned because there are some people who are old but don't look it either wink

You're never too old to enjoy picking up dumb skanks.

If I go to a club and take some chick home, and the next day she regrets licking some old balls, who really should have stayed home?

I was lol lol @ some of the comments. Balls/skanks/tenderonis. lol Too many to quote.

Anyway, I say you are never to old until you're sitting in an urn on the mantle. What makes you feel old is STOPPING. I'm in my 40's. I won't say which end. cool But, I don't look my age. And I could give a flying eff what anyone says about me. And I think that's why I can hang out with many different ages and have a blast. I'm not about getting falling down drunk. (I do that at home, thank you) razz

I don't want to pick up anyone. I'm not looking to have my drinks bought. I just want to dance and feel the music. When I lived in Madison, WI, a bunch of us from work would go to Club5 on Fridays. Our group would have 21 to 55 yo's. It's a gay club, and that's what I love about it. No age discrimination. All ages partied, in all manner of dress or undress. I know we would dance all night long. Alone. With each other. Three at a time. I put on my heels, danced until the sweat was making puddles, and felt alive. That's what matters.

I will say my ego was boosted when a cute, 20 something lesbian hit on me. sexy wink

Just FEEL good! Stay young at heart. I want to be that 70 year old still dancing too! wink
