My wife Mon has been a bit under the weather lately and her symptoms seem to indicate pregnancy, which as some of you may understand would be quite the miracle for us. We weren't really consciously trying for a baby, it has to be said, as we're about to plan a trip to the UK for Xmas and were soon to begin sorting out all the visa stuff that entails. We've been to the hospital and after several different opinions made our thinking change by the hour her test came back negative. A home test kit has come out similarly so, yet still she has the same typical symptoms of pregnancy since then, and now for 10 days since it began. We'll be going back to the hospital at the beginning of next week but at this point we don't know whether she's pregnant, had a miscarriage, her period has just been screwed up or something else. My greatest fear is that something is wrong 'down there' in relation to an operation she had a few years back to remove one of her ovaries.

I guess what I'm saying is that right now with everything seeming so up in the air that we would really appreciate your positive energy not for pregnancy as such or for anything in particular but for an outcome that won't mean Mon being put through more surgery, heartache or bad news.

Please do what you do so well, org. We'd really appreciate it.

It seems wrong to wait to get her checked up again but we were waiting for when her period was due and a few days after to see what the state of play was.

Ya know, even her not being pregnant and all this being from thinking too much or something, or even a miscarriage, would be ok at this point, strange as it sounds. She's nearing her 30s and time is slipping and as it stands we've still a chance so all I want is for there not to be any further complications. Not having a baby now but Mon being fine would be ok with us both.

Yeah, um, I got a cafepress account because I could, before spiralling horribly downwards into a pit of hopelessness and care-free abandon shortly after uploading a picture of a lemon.
