I don't like foundation. It never looks smooth (and I'm really good at blending) and it feels heavy.

So usually, I wear a tinted foundation. My absolute favorite is Laura Mercier. It gives a bit of coverage, yet is still fairly sheer. And it's a great base if you do want to wear foundation (if you're getting dressed up in the evening, for example).

Even though it isn't an oil-free moisturizer, I've never had a problem with it making me break out - which is a plus. The color stays true, it doesn't rub off, and it wears evenly.

This is my FAVORITE. I use a little bit of concealer under my eyes and then use this on the rest of my face. Love love love it.

Yup, it's pretty amazing. I've tried other tinted moisturizers and this is the best, hands down. nod

I have Iman now. It's what I am am wearing in this pic:

And it has been the best so far but I have oily skin so five minutes in, I'm bleeding through it.

You look gorgeous! biggrin Do you not like Iman? Or is the shade not quite right? Looks good here, & you could also mix the closest 2 to get that perfect match (that's what I do with MAC, though one of them is pretty right on). Another thing MAC has is Blot Powder - it's a pressed powder that controls shine & comes in 3 "shades" (has no color really, but I use the darkest shade). It does pretty good. I'm the same way w/ shine, mostly my damn nose mad So I definitely use the blot powder & when I go out I use blot paper on my nose after a while. Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance hammer

& how fucking dare you think of yourself as anywhere near "ugly" fight That shit all is in your head, YOU ARE PRETTY exclaim Know that nod

I have been telling her that since the first pic I saw of her.

What's your fave makeup and WHY --- the WHY is the most important part thumbs up![/color]

Lately I like all sorts of makeup:

Maybelline eyeliners (retractables to avoid the sharpening mess)
Loreal HIP's make up is good too!
Sephora flashy eyeliner in copper (so awesome!)
Sephora purpled colored mascara (I like a variety of colors in mascaras!)
I recently like Max Factor's Vivid Impact mascaras because of all the color varieties.
Urban Decay and Hard Candy eyeshadows because they are so pigmented.
Now in mascaras I honestly think that the best one for me is Maybelline's Define A Lash in the green tube. This mascara actualy works and it does not clump at all, and it's really cheap too. I get compliments when I wear Max Factor's Vivid Impact, but just the base part (it's MX's Lash Perfection or something like that).
I have yet to try Diorshow mascara, but I will as soon as my money broke days are somewhat over.

Anyone recommend a mascara?
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

shrug I've been trying to find a tinted moisturizer for women of color, haven't found it yet. I don't think they make it. Currently I just us Posner concealer under the eyes.

MAC's great for some folks, but it turns into an oil slick on my face. disbelief I love Bobbi Brown and she has a great Moisture Rich foundation that's good even on oily skin. They also have great sample sizes of their foundation so you can try before you buy. thumbs up!

Oh, and Mach, how did you're Clinique work out?
