I don't wear much make-up, but one of my girl friends used to work at MAC and she wears it everyday.

She always looks flawless sexy

OK, now don't you think a lot of this is how you apply your makeup?

I feel smothered when I wear foundation. Maybe 5 times I've tried to wear it and even then I only put it on my nose and chin maybe. You know...the yuck spots. lol But, every day? Nahhhh...I don't even brush my hair half the time. I'm sure as hell not putting on foundation. lol

MAC and Rimmel London are the best you can get along with Elite
They put less extra stuff in so theres less chance for allergic reactions and so forth, They give you more of a natural look too.

I'm now MAC faithful. I combine the spf (standard foundation) with the Hyperreal (has a bit of shimmer, gives a bit of a glow)...

WHY - it matches my skintone very well, it's got spf built in, the formula always glides on & is never chalky looking, makes my skin look healthy & nobody can tell I'm wearing any (which is exactly what foundation is supposed to do)...

I have never tried any MAC items hmmm

many foundatins make my skin look orangish and I REALLY DISLIKE that lol

That's another thing about MAC - they have a line w/ yellowish undertones (for darker, more olive skin) & a line w/ blueish undertones (for paler skin). You need the right match & if it doesn't work for you MAC lets you return it (I think, it's been so long since I returned something from them). Also, apply it indoors & immediately get into the sunlight w/ a mirror. If you can tell a difference between your face & neck, something is off. You should be undetectable in sunlight if the shade/amount is right...

I've never tried MAC for the two times a year I wear foundation. I find most brands of makeup are too dark or too light. I guess I gotta get to the MAC counter.

You look gorgeous! biggrin Do you not like Iman? Or is the shade not quite right? Looks good here, & you could also mix the closest 2 to get that perfect match (that's what I do with MAC, though one of them is pretty right on). Another thing MAC has is Blot Powder - it's a pressed powder that controls shine & comes in 3 "shades" (has no color really, but I use the darkest shade). It does pretty good. I'm the same way w/ shine, mostly my damn nose mad So I definitely use the blot powder & when I go out I use blot paper on my nose after a while. Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance hammer

& how fucking dare you think of yourself as anywhere near "ugly" fight That shit all is in your head, YOU ARE PRETTY exclaim Know that nod

I don't like foundation. It never looks smooth (and I'm really good at blending) and it feels heavy.

So usually, I wear a tinted foundation. My absolute favorite is Laura Mercier. It gives a bit of coverage, yet is still fairly sheer. And it's a great base if you do want to wear foundation (if you're getting dressed up in the evening, for example).

Even though it isn't an oil-free moisturizer, I've never had a problem with it making me break out - which is a plus. The color stays true, it doesn't rub off, and it wears evenly.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I'm not sweet, I'm honest biggrin Surely somebody has some decent shades w/ shine control built in, but even if they don't try the blot powder from MAC. Plus something w/ shine control might work overtime & block pores, that would worry me a little. But I like the Iman on you hug

This is my FAVORITE. I use a little bit of concealer under my eyes and then use this on the rest of my face. Love love love it.
