i love dogs, (have two of my own) but...

leave them at home when you go shopping. i've been seeing all these people in department and grocery stores walking around with their dogs in their arms like it's a baby. be considerate to the hundreds of people you might come in contact with who might be allergic to dog hair or just might not like dogs (or cats for that matter). your dog would rather be home sleeping anyway. confused

I agree.

Take them to the park, not Walmart.

I say get rid of all small dogs all together. Any dog smaller than a big cat should not exist.

I agree.Altho I am a dog lover, and have 2 of my own,I don't think storez r the place 4 petz.Recently in Walmart,a woman had a new kitten curled up inside a pet bed that she was buying 4 it,along with some litter, food, and cat toyz.I thought "How cute" until she placed the pet bed on the counter where my groceriez had 2 go,with the kitten still in it.I chose a different line 2 check out in.Leave the petz home, people. neutral There was even a woman in a restaurant with a chihuahua in her purse. He was quiet and stayed put,but still... neutral

i hate it when people whore their dogs for attention, especially when the dog is poorly trained and has no boundaries and the owner is all "oh, isn't that cute" when lil' cujo is humping my leg. i hate it when i'm expected to think someone's dog is as cute as they think it is. this is why i'm a cat person, dammit. my cats wouldn't be seen dead at a walmart. they scream bloody murder when we even try to put them in the car. lol

Aww. Give Grady some credit. He was a perfectly sedate dollface last summer.

I've honestly never seen a cat more well behaved in a moving vehicle before.

Are you sure you didn't slip him some valium or smoke him up while I was outside arranging things in the Uhaul?

Yeah, just keep your damn dog under control.

I go jogging on the trails behind my house, and it's a popular dog walking place. Most people are great and their dogs don't even approach me, but there's always some that sniff my hands--or worse!

Now, I love dogs, but the hills are filled with poison oak. Every time some strange dog puts his nose in my hand I'm paranoid for three days, because I know they've been sniffing around some poison oak.

Or, the other side is, they might just bite me, so keep 'em under control!!

nope, that's just grady. he's not very interested in behavior that requires a lot of effort or energy. he'll voice his displeasure a couple of times, and if that doesn't work out, he just curls up and makes the best of it. lol
