Depends. I watch something on Dutch tele, often US or UK series and then decide i cannot wait and download the entire season, then am out of commission for a weekend. Like now with Battlestar Galactica.
I love tv series. Gilmore Girls. Lark Rise To Candleford. Ugly Betty. I am all over the place. From geek stuff to girl stuff. And some CSI too, but only Vegas, cuz the rest is just too much; waaaay too much pathology series on tv. I like the first the best; Silent Witness.

But normally about an hour a day.

WHen the season is in Full swing...I'd say I have 5 hrs I'll definitely watch mixed with the regular surfing around...about 7 hrs.

Normally though when there isn't a lot on maybe 3.

Watching intently (mostly) now:

Big Brother (3 hrs/wk)

Was watching intently, but only half-watching now:

Survivor: Micronesia (1 hr)

Half-watching:

America's Next Top Model (1 hr)
Beauty & the Geek (1 hr)

Watch intently when they're in season:

Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (1 hr?)
Curb Your Enthusiasm (40 mins)
The Sarah Silverman Program (30 mins)
The Apprentice (1 hr)

Would watch if I got it:

Real Time with Bill Maher (1 hr)

Will occasionally watch, especially if someone I like's on:

Saturday Night Live (90 mins)
Charlie Rose (1 hr)
Letterman (1 hr)
Conan (1 hr)
Larry King (1 hr)

Quite enjoy, but not appointment television:

Gene Simmons' Family Jewels (1 hr?)

Will watch the occasional rerun:

Seinfeld (30 mins)

Is this still on? 'Cause I really enjoyed it:

Dinner for Five (1 hr?)

I absolutely love TV. Now that movies are too damn expensive, I watch even more. I regularly follow Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Scrubs, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Psych, and more that I'm probably forgetting. I'm still upset those bastards cancelled Journeyman! mad

I know tons of people do this but I find it so strange to have the tv on just b/c it's there lol My tv rarely gets turned on before nighttime & when it's on I'm actively watching something, otherwise that shit is off. I can't stand the sound of commercials & yappin' & SHIT all the time shake It just bugs me, especially when I Tivo everything & skip commercials @ all times now mad

I loved Dinner for Five! woot! I don't think they've done a new season in quite a while, Favreau seems to be concentrating on directing/acting right now. I hope it comes back, good show cool

it's background noise just like turning on the radio as opposed to complete silence all of the time. I know a good number of people who turn on both but I'm not that bad all that noise would drive me crazy.
