It doesn't hurt at all. Once your gums are nice and numb you won't feel a thing.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out at the same time. I was knocked out but I did not have an IV. After I came round I started shaking and crying for no apparent reason as I couldn't feel anything but other than that it was a piece of cake.

I have had plenty of IVs though through other surgeries and they aren't so bad.

The teeth are better out as they must be causing you some nasty problems.

I have to go have surgery on the 28th. Tonsils and adnoids are coming out and they're fixing my deviated septum. The only good thing I see is the liquid narcotics.

yeah, i didn't feel a thing & it's healing pretty good i think, but i just took the band-aid off where they put the IV in and i wanna faint every time i see the bruise. boxed
