If they made soy pizza, would it taste good?

well, i do know soy cheese exists. it wouldn't be hard to make a pizza with shredded soy cheese. i even think i've even had a archer farms vegan roasted veggie pizza from target - it didn't have any kind of cheese on it and it was pretty good.

thats whats up, yo

personally and this personally, i enjoy soy.
regular milk, for me has this salty taste to it.
cow milk does mix well with my stomach.
soy milk does.
cow milk has this funny after taste
soy milk does not.

plus soy milk is better for you.

I still eat ice cream, and I put half & half in my coffee (soy milk just doesn't work for coffee!)

But I NEVER eat cereal with cows milk anymore. I think some day I'll give up the other two, as well.

confession:

when i was in my early teenage years, i used to drink A GALLON OF WHOLE MILK EVERY DAY.

EVERY. DAY.

you wanna talk about man boobs? lol

these days, i go through maybe a half-gallon of soy milk a week, but most of that is used for cooking or cereal. i still like having a big cold glass of soy milk, but it's more of a special treat for me these days than something i need to be consuming at all times. i guess too much of ANYTHING is kinda unhealthy and gross, but i'm glad i made the switch. shrug

I prefer Almond milk to Soy. It's got the right consistency for me.

i don't mind almond milk. the only stuff i've ever tried is the almond milk in the little cartons. i'm not really crazy about the idea of soy/almond milk that you don't buy from the refrigerated section. that kinda icks me out (irrational, i'm sure). plus, the almond milk i've had was a little too gritty for me. maybe i just didn't try the right brand or something. shrug

I actually didn't realize they had it in the refrigerated section lol I don't like it (or soy) at room temperature, however. I always refrigerate it before I use it.

I don't know about the grittiness. The problem I have with soy is that it breaks apart in my coffee (akin to grittiness, I suppose), but pretty much the only other time I use them are with cereal, so I wouldn't notice the texture of the milk itself.

If you really have some time on your hand, try homemade almond milk (soak almonds in water 4 four hours then blend it in a blender and strain--taste better than soy or cow's milk).

Screw that - you're half-way to horchata at that stage. MMMmmm. Horchata.

MOST soy cheese has casein in it which is a milk protein. There are a few good vegan cheeses out there, but you have to be careful. My favorite vegan pizza from a place around here doesn't have any cheese on it at all and it's freaking delicious.

And cow juice is disgusting.
