A&D ointment for the first 5 days. After that use pure cocoa butter

No no no and no!! A&D only for the first day right after the tattoo is completed. It clogs your pores!

I'm sorry I'm not trying to come off as a know it all I swear! I dated a tattoo artist for a long time and saw what A&D does to a tattoo!!!

i guess im lucky all my tattoos are still perfect and colorful.
But I will think again about a&d the next time I get a tattoo (soon) giggle
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

Less is more...you'll be surprised how well you'll do without it. I know it's different for everyone but try just one without all the A&D. It hurts to run hot and cold water over the new tattoo but *I* found that it worked great. My tattoos never raise like the old one does.

I want another one too!!!! I'm thinking of doing my shoulders!

Do it do it do it! woot!

I haven't done my feet yet. I'm really into the symmetric tattoos so it would just feel right to do them both. I was thinking of a Mom tattoo on the right foot and Dad on the left. I'm going to put my CC's on the inside of my lip soon.

Be careful tattooing the feet. My sister broke her foot a couple years ago (shortly after she'd had a tat done on the top of it) and her doctor said her tattoo may have contributed by weakening the tendons in her foot temporarily.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Listen to CarrieLee, there is so much misconception around on aftercare. The idea is to keep it moisturized, nothing more. And CLEAN.

And please, NO A&D!!!!!1 disbelief
