This is soooo true. All the not so fine guys I was with worshipped the ground I walked on and gave me the sun and moon. Problem is, I often got bored with the blanket approval and high praise I got for just breathing. So, since I foolishly love a challenge, I married a ver, very nice looking, super fly calendar model looking man with an impressive package....

I have that philosophy. I went to a gay club in San Diego a few months before I came back to NYC and I remember looking around at all the guys that were there and they were fine as hell but I just knew that none of them would be interested in me and sure enough, I went home alone. It made me look at how I look at other guys and if I do the same thing to them and I realized that I did and that I was wrong. A few months later and back here at home, I finally started dating people because I didn't limit myself into thinking that I needed to be with a specific kind of man. I just want one who gives a damn about me and my well being. The looks, while they are important to some degree, isn't as important as it was before. I find that if I am attracted to their heart and their personality, then I'm going to find them attractive. I would think that it's like that for men and women, straight and gay alike.
