It's all relative to a person's income. To some people $22,000 is peanuts. Besides this is ostrich leather and anything ostrich is gonna cost a lot and this was prolly a limited edition version. A regular leather Birkin is around $10-15k. I just don't get the 6 year waiting list stuff. Why not just make more of the bags, not to flood the market, but to somewhat meet demand. That's the nutty part to me.
