Fear of Success

Have you ever taken a look around and thought, "Ut oh, all of my talk is about to happen!" eek

I've been working on my org for the past few years. This week some interesting stuff has occurred. I'm going to partner with some graduate students from Indiana University. They will do the needs assessment for us. They will also assist with continued organizational development including a comprehensive strategic plan.
I've had calls for presentations, volunteering and board membership....along with a couple of donations. eek

We are submitting the tax exemption application next month (if there's any nonprofit attorneys on the org...send me a note lol)

I'm like...uh...ok. :box:

Have you ever seen your dreams about to happen but sorta wanna run the opposite way?

thats great Rhonda! eek

Yes. Its happening to me now. I want to start a community service that is run like a daycare/after school that teaches arts and crafts to kids but helps parents and homeless/low income people. I have the art experience but I needed the business experience. I just got a job with a business like this. They were so excited about my ideas and want me to have my own little art class eventually. I got kind of scared. I Started thinking that maybe I can't do it, but here I am smile it feels like things are just now falling into place and I don't know what to do lol

You have NO idea how truthful and insightful your comments are! To quote Thoreau, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation".

Being scared is natural. It's only when it prevents you from succeeding that it's a problem. Be confident and go get it! nod
