It is always scary to see small children unattended esp. with everything that is going on in the world. Your Mother instinct kicked in, you did the right thing.

I have had "moments" my whole life too. My sister and I tell each other our dreams so we have witness when they come true and they often do. It's hard for me because I have not learned to trust this ability fully. I mean I recognize but sometimes when I am afraid it is because I don't know the difference between the "gift" and just plain ole unfounded anxiety.

I think it is more cosmic sensitivity than a psychic ability, it's not really predictive, I just know something is coming and it makes me uneasy.

shrug

great job trusting your instincts stymie thank goodness you didn't second guess the feeling. hug

My mother still remembers long ago she went to pick us (her children and our neighbour's) to school.
At one moment she had to cross the main road with her small car full of children.
I said: The car's gonna stop
And it did omfg
Imagine the horror face of my mother when she saw 2 trucks aproaching at high speed from both sides .
Fortunately they could both stop and nothing happened.

30 years later she still thinks I'm a jinx redface

always..

one instance i was on my way to pick my daughter up from daycare and i happened to look up at a cloud that looked like a little girls face with 2 pony tails. and i said to myself "how cute, that looks like my baby" then the cloud changed and whole formed on the forehead. then i said "something happened to my babygirls head", so i sped up to get to the daycare and they were just about to call me when i got there to let me know she had bumped her head really hard but she was ok. she came walking around the corner crying with a big, red lump in the middle of her forhead.

it was strange because i woulda freaked out when i saw her because the lump was so huge, but i was calm because i already knew what to expect....freaky.

I've always had something that people called the gift. My mom had it and her mom before her. The way I look at it is that it's a little Jedi mind trick combined with the ability to see a few steps up the road.

Nothing to be scared of, it can really be used to help people without calling attention to what it is.

Yeah, but it can be scary when some people aren't ready for it. I had a girl break up with me once over it, because it freaked her out so badly. Even my mom, and she loves me, has been weirded out over the years about it on occasion.

I have many moments like that. Also, when I become really close to someone it gets really scary. My best friend, my cousin and I are very close. We always read each other.

My scariest moment was this.

My friend and I were driving downtown. I had totally forgotten that it was Cinco De Mayo. I was upset 'cause I should've taken a different route. All of a sudden I had this weird feeling and I said to my friend. "Oh shit, something is going to go down." As soon as I said that 3 gunshots rang out and people started running. It turned out that police had someone in custody, the person got away and tried to run over the officer with the patrol car. They shot him.

I've the opposite reaction but I think it's what I attract. It gives the people in my life a feeling like we're really connected because everything doesn't have to be said. Sometimes there is an actual connection but most times it's this ability to read people.

I was raised around astrology and tarot too and while I can really hit the nail on the head with the cards, I really don't like the whole business that's associated with it. Also, I've been traumatized by ex-girfriends who treated me like a circus freak and would be like, "Dance monkey, dance". At that point it takes willpower and an understanding of Karma not to react.

Well i have this book called "The New Astrology" by Suzanne White where she combines the traditional Western Zodiac (Pisces, Aries, etc) with the Eastern Zodiac (year of the Snake, Ram, Pig, etc) and in that book the year of the Goat/Ram is the most sensitive sign. So it's freakishly accurate for me.

when my mj obsession was at it's peak, I was psychic about everything and it was kind of creepy

I never hear mj music at the mall, but in 2003 when I was there, I heard it twice when I was with my friend at different stores, and a week before that they were playing his videos on a screen, she thought that was funny how she goes there all the time and only hears mj when I'm there

the night before the neverland raid, I had a horrible feeling about him and his kids like someone was up to no good and kind of prayed that whatever it was, no matter how bad, that things would turn out okay in the end. 2 weeks before that I had some feeling he would be in the news again like crazy soon, but thought it was only cause it was a year after the baby dangling

and stuff like randomly hearing him on the radio when I did turn it on once in a blue moon, like human nature at 4 in the morning one time, and waking up a minute before you rock my world aired on tv in the middle of the night, years after it came out

also, I was thinking he's so over and no one will care anymore so much about anything musical again when it comes to him (I was so wrong, of course they still love the classics), but then little things happened. I was walking home from the bus stop and passed my old school and kids were outside for recess. About 3 of them were in a group close to the side walk and they were singing ABC, I took that as a sign meaning things will be ok and people will be feeling his music again someday

aside from all this, I've remembered a random person I went to school with and would randomly see them on public transit after 10 years of not. Or i would remember a random song I liked years ago and had forgotten about and suddenly i would hear it on the radio or see it on tv.

Kinda.

I get deja vu all the time, especially when I'm on this website for some reason.

I had a dream once about a high profile celebrity that ended up coming true. Right down to the outfit she wore.

I think I've had other dreams come true but I can't quite remember them.

And the classic "thinking about a song and the radio comes on" happens often.

It's funny because no matter how obscure the song is...it will always play either the same day or the next day.
