No matter what you see in the mirror, you always feel the same inside your head.

That's why the physical aspect of aging is so hard. If I didn't have to look in a mirror, I'd feel like I was 20 forever.

Aging ain't for sissies, that's for sure.

That's for sure....

As long as I keep my health and enjoy my life, I will never feel 'old' per se....I might be considered old chronologically, but I neither feel nor do I look 'old'....

Well for me that could be at 42. nod I certanly don't want to live past 80, I think. I hope Casey is still around so he can put that pillow over my face while I sleep. We refer to it as "pillow time". nod

I don't feel old at all. In fact, I feel like I'm in some of the best shape of my life. I just trip off of the number. And wonder if I should still be doing some of the things I'm doing.

Age is state of mind. Your body is host to a spirit. How one ages depends on how one takes care of themselves dietary wise, physically, and spiritually. Just ask this lady.

Anxiety

i think you're old when you define yourself as old.

for example, i think when you resign yourself to the fact that you're not capable of understanding or interpreting today's popular culture, you are old.

then again, i think when you reach a certain age and you try too desperately to embrace modern pop culture in an effort to stay young, that can make you look even older.

i think you're in a good space when you can acknowledge the fact that you're aging, but at the same time appreciate that you're part of the world that is still spinning in the here and now.

You are always young. ALWAYS. I'll prove it to you:

Five years from now, you will say, "Dang! I was so much younger back then!" Then, five years from THEN, you'll say the same thing. And so on.

So, you are always young. We just don't always realize it.
