Marvel films truly are rubbish.

...except Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, X-Men 2, and X-Men 3, which range from great to excellent.

Was it 87? I do know it was in the 80s. Classic movie. I remember it making me really sad.

The critics were correct. The movie was very, very good. After seeing it, you too will believe a man in a 2000 lb. titanium suit can fly.

You didn't know that until you saw the movie? Marvel Films' publicity must be doing a terrible job up north.

Saying I dug it would be an understatement. It's up there with Spider Man 2 as the best Marvel comics film ever done I think. The only part that made me wince a little was the dialogue in the final fight scene which gave me flashbacks to the Transformers movie. barf

You didn't like it? I thought is was gonna be just some big outlet for advertisers (there were a few i think) but I was really impressed. I thought that Robert Downey Jr. did a good job.

Nope, neither did my friend I saw it with. I thought RDJ was the only saving grace about the movie. Gwenyth Paltrow was horrible to me.

Just seen it. Liked it. It's not what I would call a "good" movie in terms of plot, direction, editing, etc. But it is an awesome movie in terms of coolness, cgi, fun, etc. It's a really cool film and I recommend it to all action fans. nod

I should not have gone looking for a plot in the first place so that's my fault. lol

You mean the recent TF movie, not the excellent original animated one from '86, right?

I gotta chime in here; I saw the movie this weekend, and I have to say that it is awesome. It's definitely worth seeing, if only for Robert Downey Jr's performance in it. He basically carried the weight of this movie, and if it weren't for him being cast in it, the movie probably would have sucked.
