I want to talk about SKIN TAGS

Is there a link between them and colon cancer?

My brother-in-law's mom is having like 4 of them removed.
Apparently they happen to her all the time.

Supposedly benign, I heard that they may be an indication of problems with your colon?

She DOES eat a terrible diet. I mean TERRIBLE. And she's overweight though I don't think she's in the obese range.

A normal meal for her is hotdogs, chips, and maybe a pickle.

Is this one of those things that looks kind of like a cross between a mole and a booger?

I have one of those under my left arm, up by the pit. Sometimes it gets snagged on stuff and feels all irritated for a week or so. I've torn it off once or twice too. confused

My mother has tons of them and I have a couple, as well as lots of moles. I figured they were genetic. I have a quite fabulous diet.

I've never heard of a correlation, but now I'm all scared. Thanks. neutral

I had one under my left arm when I was a teenager and actually shaved it off by accident. It was gone for years and then all of a sudden it came back, like, a year ago or so. confused

YOu can actually cut the off with very sharp scissors with little or no pain sometimes.

But this lady has them persistently. I mean, like --- it's strange.

I need to find the article that links it to potential problems with the colon.

I'm trying to get my brother-in-law to get her to improve her health. I mean, she flew to England last summer and spent most of the time sick or sleeping.

Yeah. It always comes back. Right in the same spot. What's with that? Maybe I should stub out a cigarette on it and just kill that whole area. Think it would work? lol

According to this shit: http://en.allexperts.com/...n-tags.htm

There seems to be a very loose correlation between skin tags and colon 'polyps'.

But in other sources I'm looking up it says that 'past' literature linking the two have not been proven by recent studies.

They're quite common for women who have polysicstic ovaries.
