I couldn't tell at first glance. I need to watch it again. I REALLY like him. I like Samantha Morton, too...I thought she was priceless playing the mute girl in "Sweet and Lowdown"...I need to see if I can access that movie here, it might be on video already if it already did last year's festival rounds in Europe...

wow. Kids and Gummo are two of my favorites, especially Gummo, to the point where I can't even watch it anymore, we wore it out so much in college. that one's going to be hard to top. but this looks to have potential.

(I've never seen Julien Donkey-Boy) julien donkey-boy is really difficult to get through, though it's worth it because every scene with werner herzog as the insane evil father is pure comedy gold. otherwise, it's a pretty obtuse and creepy movie.

LMAO! is this his first movie since GUMMO? no. he released one movie since, "julien donkey-boy". after that, i guess he tried to make a movie called "love, harm" in which he wanted to film himself out in public goading people into beating him up. apparently, his mother stepped in and prevented him from making this movie.

Errm, he must've been suffering from writers block to spawn an idea like that.

i don't think it will be too terribly disturbing. this trailer looks like 'muppets take manhattan' compared to his other movies.
