Getting Ready For Work Do you prepare everything the night before? ironing, packed lunch etc
Or do you fly around like a blu-arsed fly doing everything in the morning ?

I don't iron for work, my job is far too relaxed for that thankfully... I try to put lunch together b/c it saves 5-10 minutes, but I don't always do it... I never know what I'm wearing the next day, I want my mood to dictate that (yes, it's time consuming)... I'm usually late

When I worked full time outside the home everything I needed for the next day was set before bed. Life is to crazy as it is to start a day running around like a chicken on fire 1st thing in the mornings

I literally roll out of bed, throw on clothes and try and make the train on time.

Ex-Moderator | I will sometimes pick out my outfit the night before, but only once a week or so. But I tend to get up in time to have plenty of time for my normal routine which, yes, generally includes ironing my outfit. |

i work nights so i have all day to get ready for work. still, i usually wait until a half hour before i have to leave to start doing anything to get ready.
i try to iron as little as possible. when i lived in chicago i had a dry cleaner right down the block, and i'd take my work shirts to be cleaned and pressed. it's not as convenient an option since i moved, though now i live in a house with a dryer in the basement and that's almost as good!

I usually make my lunch for Monday through Thursday on Sunday. (I eat the same thing every day.) If I have ironing to do, I just do a bunch of it at a time in a single evening, while I'm watching a movie or something.
But I usually decide what I'm going to wear on a particular day on the fly. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Or do you fly around like a blu-arsed fly doing everything in the morning ? If I'd ever feel like that ... I'm probably somewhere on holiday, near Tampa, Florida ... and I wouldn't be preparing for work ... unless by work you mean ... ah forget it

ME TOO. Whenever I put clothes out the night before I never end up wearing them. I do take a quick look in the closet to see my options, then I'll wear whatever I'm feeling. Breakfast and lunch is the only thing I prepare for the night before.

I think we should all vote on a uniform and everybody should wear the same thing every day (like Seinfeld's routine about fashion in films set in the future).

I would love to wear a uniform to work everyday. It would make life soooo much easier.
