It's one thing to call with some bullshit that I'm not interested in to start with...it's a whole 'nother level of disregard to call with a recording..."All of our rerpresentatives are busy, please hold and someone will be with you shortly"...if you're so goddamned busy, call me later!!!!

That's what I do. I don't get as many telemarking calls now, since I'm on the "do not call" list. But if I do happen to get a call where someone is trying to sell me something, I'm not afraid to interrupt them before they get too far into their spiel. I tell them, "I'm not interested, and besides, I'm on the "do not call" list, so you're not supposed to be calling me anyway. Stop calling me!". Then I hang up on them. I show telemarketers absolutely no mercy.

That's what I thought! I was really irritated. I told them to take me off their call list. I try to ignore the calls but after the 35 millionth time I get so mad that I answer it and try and tell them to take me off their call list, but they just keep talking and talking....


I try and be understanding. I guess maybe some of these people are just trying to earn a living to feed their family or themselves. But, man it is one annoying profession.
