i am curious if anybody here has ever - either on purpose or due to circumstance - been party to an Improv Everywhere type of event/prank, as i am considering taking part in one in the very near future.

for those unfamiliar with Improv Everywhere and similarly founded groups in other cities, basically what they do is "...execute(s) pre-planned "missions" which usually involve socially awkward or unusual situations." these events are performed in public places.

for example, one event staged at Grand Central Station in NYC in january of this year had 200+ Improv Everywhere members all suddenly freezing in place - then, 5 minutes later, unfreezing - at precisely the same moment. video and photos of this particular 'mission' can be seen here: http://improveverywhere.c...nd-central

as a passionate advocate and appreciator of the absurd, participating in something of this nature greatly appeals to me!
