Fluoride in toothpaste is poisonous.....

Has anybody else heard that fluoride in toothpaste is poisonous? People are saying that Fluoride is a neurotoxin and it also causes osteoporosis.

This morning I was brushing my teeth and I read the label on my toothpaste. It did say to call poison control if toothpaste is accidently swallowed. WTF?

Not only is fluoride in toothpaste, it is also in our water supply. How could you avoid fluoride? Especially since most bottled water is just bottled tap water.

yup.

Google "Salt Based" toothpaste and order some of that instead. Salt is very affective at killing germs, and cleaning your theeth. There are ones that use star Anise to sweeten the paste.

I use alternative toothpaste whenever I can. Flouride is poisonous.

As with anything, it depends on how much of it you eat.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Then again, some bacteria thrives in a salty environment.

I wonder if plain baking soda would be a good alternative. that's what they use back in the day. I don't think having more cavities is very healthy either. I think that is the main purpose of adding the fluoride to the toothpaste. I probably depends on the quantity. I was told zinc was supposed to help your immune system, but high doses can kill you.

I guess to much of everything can be bad for you.

the thing that trips me out is about 13 years ago, they used to gve you little containers of flouride for your baby's teeth as they came in. They stopped the practice but never really let out why. Tom's natural toothpaste...it may not have flouride.....
Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

JASON has non-fluoride toothpaste
so does another brand called KISSMYFACE

They also put fluoride in tap water.
Thats why I always wonder how well those Britta filters work, do they filter the fluoride too?

My dad always told me to never swallow toothpaste. I remember it to this day. They used lead for fillings as well. So WTF, dentists?
Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

I avoided flouride for a while but I got a bunch of cavities. I think you don't need it if you don't eat much sugar, but I do like sweets & maybe a coke.

I have used flouride toothpaste (but don't like to drink tap water) for a few years again, and haven't really had any cavities.

I just rinse really well after brushing my teeth, and hope the government can't control me.

When I first used an all natural/organic t/p (after only one tube)
I went back to Crest
and I could immediately taste the chemicals in the t/p.
I couldn't handle it.

They used to give us fluoride tablets in school. They were cherry flavoured. It did not help to prevent me from getting cavities.

My SO teases me because I use toothpaste without fluoride and he says it tastes like soap.

It's devastating. That's why everyone dies when they brush their teeth.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.
