My son has super strength and...

pushed my tv off my entertainment unit onto the floor.

Now the picture is purple and green. Can it be sent out for repair or am I out a tv?

sounds like damage, how old is the TV? probably not worth the cost of repair.

If you get an LCD or plasma, bolt it to the wall!!!! LCD uses less power = think green

It's about 5 years old.

I made it black and white. It still works...just colour is off.

did you beat them both?

perhaps more importantly,

is it an old tv or a newer one? if it's older, i'd say just let it go to tv heaven and get a new one.

Hey, I've must have the same make and type tv you got. Green is on the left, while the right side is purple!

That's very clever! When I'm tired of this soap opera between the Hulk and Princey, I could try this as well!

Plasma televisions can lose their luminosity over time. And image retention is at greater risk with plasmas. But don't be scared off by the 'burnout' argument. You'd have to be a literal couch potato for the next 10 years or so of your life for it to matter.

My parents have one and the picture is incredible.

But I'd rather have a tv that doesn't bump up my hydro bill.
