Hi y'all.

Is time being moved one hour ahead all over the world tonight?
Which countries have this rule also or not.

Thanks.

Here in the U.S., we did it a few weeks ago. Um, Feb. something. Pres. Bush passed a law a couple of years ago adding a few weeks onto the beginning and end. Daylight Savings Time is over in October now, I think.

It's a step towards energy conservation by turning the lights out for an hour from eight to nine.

Thanks for giving an answer.
I couldn't find anything on the internet that fast but I've always wondered if the US and Australia and other countries have daylight savings time too. It must be, else the time differences wouldn't be correct anymore (e.g. 6 hours difference between the Netherlands and NY).
I believe it was introduced in 1963 in the Netherlands, they shouldn't have, I hate it.
