I'm serious. Because I don't hold back. I think it's rude to say something behind someone's back. Plus I like the look of complete shock when they notice the audacity you had to express your dislike towards them to their face. It's burtiful....

nod I'm with you on that one....I'm all up in your mug if I got something to say
Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

The person that says things behind someones back is a coward because they do not have the guts to say it to their face.

Seriously, my mother taught me "if you have nothing nice to say then better not say it"... now as an adult, I know this is pure bullshit, because not saying the truth breeds passive aggressive behaviors. Better to just be honest, I am usually tactful, but still get the message across.

Why is it that when someone finds out that you said something about them behind their back, they don't like it, but when you extend the courtesy to say it to their face, they think it's rude of you? What's up with that mess?

Discuss.

I don't understand why people think Simon Cowell is mean. He's just honest and doesn't sugar coat his opinion. Personlly, I agree with Simon more than the other two judges whenever I happen to be bored enough to watch that show...usually only on the audition episodes. I would rather be hurt by someone telling me something honest to my face than talking about me behind my back, which is pretty childish IMO. Unfortunately, some people have the tendency to become violent when told something they don't want to hear to their faces or behind their backs, so in those cases, I wouldn't even waste my time talking about them. I don't really want to get punched in the face because of my opinion of someone. Simply put, some people like pretty lies and some people have no problem with the ugly truth. Don't corrupt me with your lies! lol I hate the fact that people who talk behind your back will be the first ones to smile in your face before they do it...soo fake and disgusting. If they are going to talk about me behind my back, than I would hope they wouldn't pretend to be my friend to my face. stab
