I dunno, I think the whole illegal part would make me think twice before posting.

Sex talk is just sex talk, everyone does it.

There is nothing illegal with talking about drugs or even saying you did them. The war on drugs is a MYTH!!!

i mean, i dont think weed is the worse thing that ever happened to me...but the unfortunate thing about getting high is you never forget that that feeling exists... but yeah...i hope to be striaght-edge one day...as time goes by it become a very appealing challange

That's a good point that I should have included in my answer--that I hear how addictive drugs can be and that's a deterrent to trying them even just once. That's also why I've never smoked cigarettes and never had a cup of coffee (although I do know what coffee tastes like).

highfive I never tried anything either (coffee and cigarettes included, I did both just once in my life). And I do hang around artists ocassionally, but I guess I am being used to be the one who doesn't drink and smoke shrug. It's not healthy, it's expensive and I am afraid I might get addicted.
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

Just curious...

a.)What (illegal) drugs have you tried?
I tried marijuana 3 times

b.)If you did but stopped..why led you to stop? was it an experience, as in bad trip? (consider having stopped meaning 2+ years abstaining from the drug)
I only had 3 isolated incidents years apart. Never did anything for me but make me dizzy and make my Doritos taste slightly better, so I didn't see the appeal. Furthermore, the husband/father/responsible adult thing, not to mention the vocation, don't quite fit well with drug experimentation. confused

c.)If you still partake, what do you consider a misconception of the drug of your choice? (for ex: why it isn't as bad as others claim)
N/A

d.)What drugs would you NEVER try? why?
There aren't really any illegal drugs that appeal to me, but I'm absolutely terrified of crack and meth for some reason. They seem particularly addictive and destructive. shake

e.)If you've never tried a drug at all....why?
N/A

f.)How did you start taking drugs?First time was an illicit sexual encounter. I was invited to take a toke. I'd never tried it, so I did. It was lame. Second and third times, my cousin had some weed on him and I was bored, so I hit it. Again, it was lame. shrug

Just curious...

a.)What illegal drugs have you tried? Surprisingly, none. Considering how much nightclubbing I do and the number of times I've been propositioned!

Believe me, I live in New York and grew up in L.A. If I wanted to do it, I could've done it ages ago. I'm just simply not interested.

I can understand peoples' reluctance to talk about it. Wouldn't you feel like an idiot not getting a job or something because you were bored and orged too much.

That said, I'm a musician.

I used to smoke pot 24/7, well, let's say 16/7. I loved the way I saw the world through it. I felt I learned a lot.

I totally agree w/SammiJ that some people assume you're all "trippy" when you're stoned, but it's not true. You're just a bit more sensitive & observant.

Acid is a much bigger misconception because I felt like I could have a totally coherant conversation on acid, and I wasn't seeing stuff that wasn't there. But it was definitely a very strong drug. Huge revelations regarding the self and the world. Everything seemed so simple, not complex or trippy like I imagined. The connections were more obvious. There were times where it became hard to speak your mind because once the first word was coming out of your mouth the mind was on to the next thing.

Mushrooms were tons of fun and helped me to see the natural world more clearly, much like a stronger version of pot. And there was the drug where I saw colorful visions, not stuff that wasn't there, just stuff was accented a bit.

Extacy is why I quit it all. I had a bad trip that lasted about 2 years--from doing it twice! Extacy is a very dangerous drug, you never know how your body will react to it. It's great fun, and makes you feel lower than low. I thought it might kill me.

Fortunately I got better, and even stopped using other drugs, probably a good thing. I miss smoking weed, but I don't miss all the money I spent on it. And I don't miss being slightly anti-social or avoiding places where I couldn't bring weed.

that's exactly what i find
and hell, it may even help me paint a bit better
will i stop? yeh, probably in the coming future
but i am enjoying it now - and it's not something one can really get addicted to - at least i can't (or maybe i'm just like that)
but it definitely makes me more observant, which is an extreme enhancement for me lol i observe quite a bit sober.

You don't get addicted like you feel physical withdrawl, but depending on how much you use it you definitely get addicted. Your mind starts to associate the appreciation of everything with smoking.

Music sounds better, food tastes better, you sleep better. So when you run out, you can't eat, can't sleep, can't appreciate anything.

But that's only if you smoke every day, and only when you run out wink
